This tale’s roster of protagonists may vary over time, as is to be expected in a world as harsh as Uldrus. Even so, their overarching goals remain the same: the overthrow of the Mordent and the restoration of the Sun itself. Many have given their lives in the service of these noble aspirations—or, if not that, then in the service of ignoble aspirations which were at least similar enough to contribute towards these ends in some fasion. The list of the fallen is nearly too long to include here in its entirety, but the current party consists of:

  • Keliskrahimeloisiven, a dream dwarf priest of Luxis who supplements her proselytory literature with an assault rifle
  • Rhyken, an ex-halfling wood elf arcanist of formidable talents
  • Terra, a heavily armored yet acrobatic warblade of both human and draconic origins
  • Atu-Sinda, an elven holy warrior of Luxis from a distant land, guided by the spirit of an ancient elven hero
  • Garon, a human priest of Luxis in spiked full plate who, like, summons fiendish animals in the name of good, which sounds crazy, I know, but that’s what he does
  • Freith Falath, a totally freaky whisper gnome whose thirst for vengeance against the Mordent is exceeded only by her ghoulish appearance
